MyCup Terms of Use

Last updated July 13, 2026. By using MyCup, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or its online services.

1. Service

MyCup is an iPhone app for recording daily water intake, managing hydration goals and reminders, reviewing history, and optionally creating a personalized cup image. Core hydration records are stored locally on your device. Some features require internet access and may be changed, suspended, or discontinued as the service evolves.

2. Optional AI cup generation

AI generation is optional. When you choose a cup photo and consent to processing, MyCup sends it through the MyCup API to a third-party AI provider. Generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or different from what you expect. Daily limits and anti-abuse controls apply. 3. Your content and responsibilities

You must have the right to use every photo you submit. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, deceptive, harassing, or sensitive personal content. Do not attempt to bypass quotas or security controls, probe the service, interfere with availability, distribute malware, or use MyCup in a way that harms other people or systems.

4. Optional account

MyCup may offer Sign in with Apple to restore online features. You are responsible for access to your Apple account and device. You can delete your MyCup online account inside the app. Account deletion and local-device deletion are separate because local hydration records are not automatically uploaded.

5. Not medical advice

MyCup is a general habit-tracking tool. It does not provide medical, nutritional, diagnostic, or treatment advice and is not a medical device. Hydration needs vary. Consult a qualified professional if you have a medical condition or health concern.

6. Intellectual property

MyCup's app, website, design, software, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of MyCup materials to you. You retain any rights you have in photos you submit.

7. Availability and limitations

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. MyCup does not guarantee uninterrupted access, successful AI output, compatibility with every device configuration, or that reminders will always be delivered. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
